After graduating from Stanford, Brian spent six years in the “real world” seeing how important it is to get your professional career off to a good start. The best way to do so is to find valuable work experience before graduating, yet all too often, minority students hit graduation with nothing other than academic experience on their resume. This cycle perpetuates, and without proper mentorship, many of these highly qualified students end up left behind.

The Takeoff Institute is designed to build valuable Fellow/Advisor relationships that launch the careers of black undergrad students across the country.
